From high school in Tampa to Williams-Brice Stadium with the Gamecocks to the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes to back in Tampa to play with the Arena League Storm, Garcia has had quite the path. He may get another chance: Last week, Garcia was selected sixth overall and named the franchise player for “Team Galen Hall” in the new eight-team Major League Football.

“It means a ton,” Garcia said. “They have faith in me to be the face of the franchise and lead the team.
