The South Carolina Gamecocks had not one, but two players recognized as Players of the Week by the SEC league office on Monday for their efforts against Tennessee — brothers Dylan Wonnum and D.J. Wonnum.
True freshman right tackle Dylan, who got his first start against the Volunteers, graded out at 71 percent and helped pave the way for a season-high 224 rushing yards for the Gamecocks, which was also the second-best rushing total against a Power 5 school in the Will Muschamp era. Muschamp and staff have been on high on Dylan since he joined the program, and it’s easy to see why.
