A couple days removed from a dominant 72-52 win against the No. 14 Duke Blue Devils, No. 5 South Carolina stumbled a bit through a 69-43 victory against College of Charleston in Columbia on Tuesday.
A’ja Wilson notched her eighth double-double of the season, posting 26 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Gamecocks. Alexis Jennings (12 points) and Lele Grissett (10) joined her in double figures, and Bianca Jackson pulled down 10 rebounds while Ty Harris added seven assists.
South Carolina (9-1) took a 34-10 lead into halftime, as both teams struggled to find a rhythm offensively.
