Both South Carolina and Texas A&M survived heart-stopping finishes last week that left fans on edge. They’re also both 3-1, so don’t discount this week’s Aggies-Gamecocks matchup.
South Carolina knows it has a solid quarterback in Jake Bentley – they just don’t want to have to fall behind 13-0 again, the way they did last week against Louisiana Tech, for him to start working his magic. The jury still is out on A&M true freshman Kellen Mond as a passer, but with Christian Kirk, Keith Ford and Trayveon Williams alongside, the Aggies’ quarterback has a lot of help.
