After a rough weekend series, South Carolina got back in the win column with a come-from-behind midweek victory over North Florida.
The Ospreys wasted no time getting on the board, scoring in the top of the first inning on a Cade Westbrook sac fly and when Aidan Sweatt hit into a fielder’s choice, giving them a 2-0 lead. The Gamecocks answered in the bottom of the inning, though. Braylen Wimmer started things off with a solo shot to make it 2-1, then Brady Allen walked with one out and Wes Clarke went yard, putting USC on top 3-2.
