The Gamecocks kept things rolling against another visiting Ivy League team on Wednesday, trouncing Harvard at Founder’s Park.
The Crimson took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, but South Carolina answered in the bottom of the inning, going up 2-1. Noah Campbell and TJ Hopkins took back-to-back walks, then came home on RBI singles from Madison Stokes and LT Tolbert.
The Gamecocks scored again in the third inning, taking a 3-1 lead. Campbell singled to start things off, Hopkins walked again, and Stokes walked too. Campbell later scored on a weird double play. Harvard got the run back in the top of the fourth inning, courtesy of a homer that made the score 3-2.
