South Carolina bounced back from a tough weekend by scoring a lot of runs in the first few innings against Charleston Southern on Tuesday night, earning a midweek victory on the road in a game where no one scored after the fourth inning.
The Gamecocks got on the board quickly, taking a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. Noah Campbell started things off with a solo shot to put USC on the board 1-0, and with two outs, Luke Berryhill singled, stole second, and came home on an RBI single by Jacob Olson.
A whole bunch of runs came in the next inning as the Gamecocks broke things wide open.
