The Gamecocks offense stayed hot as South Carolina extended its winning streak to three games with a shutout against Charleston Southern on Tuesday night.
USC didn’t waste any time getting on the board, taking a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Brady Allen got hit by a pitch to start things off, Josiah Sightler knocked a base hit, and then Wes Clarke hit into a fielder’s choice that scored Allen. Andrew Eyster then followed with an RBI double. The Cocks doubled their lead in the third, when Eyster singled with two outs and David Mendham went yard to make it 4-0.
