North Carolina State fields one of the nation’s top defensive lines, and South Carolina offensive tackle Malik Young says he’s up for the challenge.
The Gamecocks’ new left tackle told reporters that he’s not intimidated by the Wolfpack’s formidable front in a news conference posted by the athletic department.
“They have a really good defensive line — four legit guys, maybe five,” Young said. “But at the end of the day, I view that as an opportunity for me.”
One of those “legit guys,” defensive end Bradley Chubb, is widely viewed as one of the top edge rushers in college football.
