South Carolina freshman center Hank Manos, who started the Belk Bowl, has missed the first week of spring practice due to a foot injury but is expected back soon.
“He’ll be fine,” Gamecocks offensive line coach Eric Wolford said.
Manos, who was wearing a walking boot Monday, was injured doing a box jump during the team’s conditioning drills, Wolford said. His injury opened the door for former walk-on Chandler Farrell to work with the first team offense for the first three practices. On Tuesday, Eric Douglas took the first-team reps as Wolford looks to build depth at the position.
