The former Delaware standout, who scored 17.7 points a game in 2015-16, will transfer to South Carolina and be eligible to play in 2017-18 after sitting out a season due to NCAA regulations.
Holden will give the Gamecocks help at guard in 2017-18. Next year will be the last for Sindarius Thornwell, Duane Notice and Justin McKie. With Rakym Felder, Maik Kotsar and Sedee Keita enrolling this fall - along with JUCO transfer Hassani Gravett - the team has filled all five of their available scholarships.
Holden, a Salisbury, Maryland product, attended J.M. Bennett High School and was a three-star recruit with offers from Delaware, Jacksonville, LIU Brooklyn, Middle Tennessee State, Robert Morris, Southern Miss and Towson.
