After a sometimes entertaining romp at Texas A&M last week, the Gamecocks find themselves in a similar situation this Saturday at Tennessee. A suspect defense facing off against a good offense with a dual-threat QB in Joshua Dobbs--who happened to have an OK game against South Carolina last year (166 yards and 3 TD's rushing and 23-40 for 301 yards and 2 TD's and an INT passing). 17-point underdogs at a 4-4 Tennessee is, um, never good, but Tennessee had the excruciating misfortune to lose three close games to good teams (Oklahoma, Florida, and Alabama), which seems to have stiffened the bookmakers' spines enough to let everyone gamble on a beat down.
