On a Sunday kickoff at Williams-Brice Stadium, the South Caroina Gamecocks welcomed in the Georgia Bulldogs. After a terrible first half from the Gamecock offense, a second half rally came up short in a 28-14 home defeat.
It was a rough first half for the Gamecocks. Georgia started fast and quickly moved down the field on the first drive of the game. Nick Chubb ran for 22 yards on two carries and then Sony Michel added another 27 yards on two carries to set up Georgia inside the twenty. A play later, Nick Chubb ran it in from 15 yards to give the Bulldogs the early lead.
