In a #1 vs. #2 matchup, the South Carolina Gamecocks women's basketball team lost 66-54 to Connecticut. Overall, the Gamecocks couldn't keep up as they never led during the game. This was South Carolina's first loss this season, which dropped them to 22-1 and snapped a 45 game winning streak at Colonial Life Arena in the first sold out women's game in program history.
