It’s down to the final two for JUCO cornerback Kaleb Chalmers. After a visit to Ole Miss this weekend, the Northwest Mississippi Community College product will make his choice between the Rebels and the Gamecocks next week. Chalmers enrolled at Clemson last year after graduating from Greenwood High in South Carolina (Qua Lewis’s alma mater), but was kicked off the team in March after being found in possession of several drugs, including marijuana. He recorded 30 tackles and a sack last year at NWCC but was heavily utilized as a shutdown defender, credited with 13 pass breakups and 14 deflections.
