Former South Carolina football player Johnathan Joseph has landed in Nashville. The veteran cornerback left the Houston Texans following the 2019 season, and chose to test the NFL free agency market.
On Wednesday, ESPN’s Dianna Russini broke the news that Joseph will be staying in the AFC South and will sign a deal with the Tennessee Titans.
Joseph is entering his 15th season in the NFL, after stints in Cincinnati and Houston. He is the NFL’s active leader in pass breakups. He’s also fourth among active players with 31 career interceptions.
Joseph lands with Tennessee, a team that made it all the way to the conference championship game last year, before falling to the Chiefs.
