The transfer portal is still a whirlwind of daily news, both “real news” and “fake news.” Much like high school recruiting, for some players, no reporting seems like enough as they appear to have a new leader each time the sun rises. For others, the transfer destination seems picked out before the player ever enters the portal. And still, for others, no news surfaces at all until the player makes a public commitment.
