Former Colorado State quarterback Collin Hill followed his old head coach, Mike Bobo, to Columbia after he accepted the role of offensive coordinator at the University of South Carolina. Hill spent four years in Fort Collins, appearing in 18 games between 2016-2019.
As a Ram, he completed over 60% of his passes, accounting for 3,323 yards and 23 touchdowns. Unfortunately, Hill’s been unable to stay healthy. He is now coming off of his third ACL surgery in four years, and couldn’t participate in any of the Gamecocks’ shortened Spring practices.
With uncertainty surrounding his future, is it possible that Hill is able to make a full recovery and crack the starting lineup, or will he simply provide depth behind incumbent Ryan Hilinski?
