If you tuned into a nationally televised high school football game last night, you might’ve gotten a a first look at one future Gamecock, who put on a show under the lights of AT&T Stadium.
South Carolina football commit Landon Samson had himself a day in Southlake Carroll’s season opener Thursday night. The Dragons took on Highland Park in the home of the Dallas Cowboys as a part of ESPN’s High School Football Kickoff event.
Samson helped his team close out a 45-21 shellacking on a national stage, housing two touchdown receptions, one from 71 yards and another from 41 yards.
