South Carolina basketball alum Aja Wilson has been dominating her entire life. She was the number-1 ranked high school recruit in the nation coming out of Heathwood Hall in Columbia, South Carolina. As a Gamecock, she won a national championship and a Naismith Award as women’s college basketball’s undisputed best player.
Now in the WNBA, the awards keep coming. The two-time (and reigning) WNBA Most Valuable Player was recently selected as a captain for July’s WNBA All-Star Game after being the leading vote-getter among all players. She will have the honor of starting in front of her home fans in Las Vegas’ Michelob Ultra Arena.
