With the early signing period in December, February’s National Signing Day has lost quite a bit of its luster. Nonetheless, the South Carolina Gamecocks brought four more players into the fold, likely closing out new coach Shane Beamer’s attempt to rescue the program’s 2021 class.
Two signees, T.J. Sanders and Kolbe Fields, were prior commitments who made it official. Sanders is a three-star, in-state prospect at defensive end, while Fields is a three-star linebacker out of New Orleans.
The Gamecocks gained two Signing Day pickups in La’Dareyen Craig and Tavareon Martin-Scott. Craig is a three-star cornerback hailing from Alabama, and three-star Martin-Scott is another linebacker out of Kansas.
