Clemson has beaten South Carolina by an average of 36.5 points in Will Muschamp’s two years as the Gamecocks head coach. The No. 2 Tigers are 25-point favorites this week.
It seems like a situation where patience is required to return the Palmetto State rivalry to a competitive footing, but Muschamp doesn’t want that.
“Patience is something I don’t have, and I don’t want our fan base to have it either,” Muschamp said this week. “I want them to be demanding and expect excellence.”
Muschamp is 21-15 as South Carolina’s head coach and next year’s schedule includes teams that are currently ranked Nos.
