Get ready for another Orthquake. Instead of Lorenzo Nunez, the South Carolina Gamecocks will start Perry Orth at quarterback on Saturday against LSU, according to Stephen Garcia at Saturday Down South.
Orth, who took over in place of the injured Connor Mitch after the latter went down against Kentucky with a shoulder and hip injury. Mitch is still on the shelf, so the team will now turn to the former walk-on instead of the true freshman in a game that was relocated from Columbia to Baton Rouge as the region continues to recover from devastating flooding this past weekend.
