The Gamecocks find themselves in a bit of a conundrum heading into the first game of the 2015-16 season against North Carolina. Steve Spurrier has four quarterbacks vying for the starting quarterback spot. Strangely enough, the returning player that was the leading passer last season is also the starting All-SEC wide receiver. Spurrier hasn’t been in a situation like this in several years with Connor Shaw and Dylan Thompson providing stability at the position and being clear cut starters most of their careers.
