South Carolina will begin significant renovations on three areas of Williams-Brice Stadium following the 2019 football season with hopes of having an updated home venue with more premium seating in time for the 2020 season. It will also renovate the first floor of the Floyd Building to accommodate fans on game day.
The renovations were approved by the school’s board of trustees on Wednesday.
The renovations will add a “2001 Club” on the south side of the stadium that will be able to hold 350 fans and include premium lounge seating above the players entrance for some of those fans.
