COLUMBIA — For Will Muschamp, everything right now is a work in progress. His family is in the process of relocating to South Carolina from Auburn, Ala. The shelves in his office are beginning to fill with helmets, mementos, and commemorative footballs. And piece by piece, person by person, his Gamecocks team is taking shape.
Assistant coaches announced thus far by South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp:
Kurt Roper, co-OC/QBs
Another element was added Monday, when former Cleveland Browns assistant Kurt Roper was formally named as South Carolina’s co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Fresh from overseeing Georgia’s victory in the TaxSlayer Bowl, former Bulldogs interim head coach Bryan McClendon was also expected to arrive Monday at USC, where he will serve as co-offensive coordinator and receivers coach.
