When former South Carolina women’s basketball great A’ja Wilson made the jump to the WNBA, she went from playing under one legendary competitor, Dawn Staley, to another, Bill Laimbeer.
Laimbeer, Wilson’s new coach with the Las Vegas Aces, was a four-time NBA All-Star and two-time league champion with the Detroit Pistons during their infamous “Bad Boys” era. Staley, of course, was a six-time WNBA All-Star and three-time Olympic gold medalist.
So on Thursday afternoon, Wilson received a tough question as part of a Twitter Q and A she was participating in with the Associated Press as part of the WNBA All-Star Weekend.
