COLUMBIA — As Sean Kelly sat in Williams-Brice Stadium during last season’s Georgia game witnessing the explosion that is “Sandstorm” for the first time, he was preoccupied with one thought.
“I’m going to have to kick in that environment,” he said with a nervous smile. “It’s kind of loud.”
Fortunately for South Carolina’s newest punter, Finnish electronica anthems do not typically echo through the stadium while the ball is in play. But USC does represent a step up for Kelly, who walked on this past spring after two seasons at Florida Atlantic, hoping to fill the void left by the graduated Tyler Hull.
