COLUMBIA — Zack Bailey has more than three full seasons of college eligibility remaining, and he plans to spend them at South Carolina — regardless of who his next head coach might be.
Bailey, a true freshman out of Summerville High School, was part of a vaunted class of new offensive linemen at USC which also included true freshmen Christian Pellage, Blake Camper and Trey Derouen, in addition to Wake Forest transfer Cory Helms. Bailey, who has started three games this season, said it was a group decision to stay.
“All the offensive linemen, we’ve kind of sat down, especially the freshmen, and talked about it.
