BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. --- No. 2 Georgia equestrian defeated No. 8 South Carolina 13-7 Saturday afternoon at the One Wood Farm. With the win, Georgia improves to 7-1 on the season and 4-1 in Southeastern Conference competition.
Highlighting the meet was Meg O'Mara (Equitation Over Fences) and Bailey Anderson (Horsemanship) who won MOP honors for Georgia. Additionally, O'Mara rode to a career-high 93 in Equitation Over Fences.
"It's always nice to come home with a win, especially against a good team and SEC rival like South Carolina," Georgia head coach Meghan Boenig said. "This is a great place to be at this point in the season as we get ready for our next SEC competitor, Auburn.
