Top-ranked South Carolina (24-1, 12-1) rode the hot hands of Aliyah Boston and Zia Cooke to blow out Auburn (9-15, 1-12) Thursday night, 75-38.
Although there was not much drama in the game, it did extend South Carolina’s win streak to 12. It was also the program’s 12th straight victory over the Tigers.
Additionally, we are closer to witnessing history with Boston, who is one game away from tying former LSU star Sylvia Fowles’ record of 19 consecutive games with double-figure points and rebounds.
As for the contest that took place, there really wasn’t one.
USC already built a 10-point cushion with 1:41 remaining in the first quarter thanks to one of many jumpers by Cooke on the night.
