More than 100 million people watched the Philadelphia Eagles win Super Bowl LII. They got to see a lot of former South Carolina teammates Alshon Jeffery and Stephon Gilmore.
“We got some good advertisement Sunday night,” Gamecocks head coach Will Muschamp said.
Jeffery is a wide receiver for the Eagles, who won their first Super Bowl in history. Jeffery caught three passes for 73 yards in the victory. Gilmore, who covered Jeffery often during the game and broke up one pass that turned into a New England interception, had four tackles and two pass breakups.
