COLUMBIA — Will Muschamp continued to build his staff at South Carolina by adding another of his former assistants at Florida.
USC announced Friday that Coleman Hutzler will serve as linebackers coach and special teams coordinator. Hutzler worked in a similar capacity at Florida in 2014, Muschamp’s final season with the Gators. He will be at least the third Gamecocks assistant — along with defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson and offensive coordinator Kurt Roper — with ties to Muschamp’s tenure in Gainesville.
South Carolina also announced that Clyde Wrenn, a longtime presence at USC, would return to the football office as director of high school relations.
