It was a successful evening for Marcus Lattimore as he made his debut on the Heathwood Hall sidelines this evening. The Highlanders took care of business against Oakwood Prep, XX-XX to hand the former Gamecocks star a victory in his first game as a head coach.
Heathwood Hall was able to open up a 28-0 lead before halftime. Despite an Oakwood Prep score with 8:28 left to play in the 3rd, the Highlanders put the game out of reach by scoring the next 14 points.
Lattimore has been on the Heathwood Hall staff since last year, coming on board as the school’s “B-team” coach and as a varsity team assistant.
