After 17 years working with South Carolina football, Robbie Liles will be leaving his post at the end of this month.
Liles has served most recently as Gamecocks head coach Will Muschamp’s director of football operations, a position that covers everything from overseeing practice logistics, planning the team’s travel and being in charge of the football team’s budget. Liles served in the position one season after taking over for longtime director of football operations Jamie Speronis, who served under Steve Spurrier throughout Spurrier’s career at South Carolina and then one year under Muschamp.
Liles, who will be taking a job outside of college athletics, has worn many hats for the Gamecocks.
