Graham Lawson and TJ Shook signed free agent deals with a pair of National League Central division teams, with Lawson going to the Chicago Cubs and Shook to the Milwaukee Brewers.
In the shortened 2020 season, Lawson had an ERA of 1.50 in six games, and in six innings of work, he gave up just two hits and one run, while also tallying eight strikeouts. Shook had an ERA of 2.08 in six games, and in 8.2 innings pitched, he allowed just three hits and two runs, while recording 16 strikeouts.
Lawson and Shook join Carmen Mlodzinski in making it to the pros after the COVID-19-shortened 2020 season; Mlodzinski was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates during the supplemental first round of the MLB Draft.
