COLUMBIA — Kenny McKinley, South Carolina’s career leader in pass receptions, was among eight Gamecocks greats elected Tuesday to the USC Athletic Hall of Fame.
USC’s Association of Lettermen also chose football cornerback Sheldon Brown, current men’s soccer coach Mark Berson, basketball guard Devan Downey, baseball pitchers Greg Ward and David Marchbanks, softball player Karen Sanchelli and sprinter Miki Barber.
McKinley is South Carolina’s all-time leader in pass receptions with 207, and second only to Alshon Jeffery in yards receiving with 2,781. The wide receiver caught 19 career touchdown passes and holds the USC record with 43 consecutive games with a reception.
