Jadeveon Clowney’s father charged with attempted murder in Rock Hill

ROCK HILL — Jadeveon Clowney’s father is in jail on attempted murder charges after allegedly firing shots outside a Rock Hill bar early Tuesday morning, according to police reports.

The Rock Hill Herald reported that David Morgan allegedly fired several shots at an employee of the Crazy Horse club after Morgan had been removed from sitting on the stage, the Rock Hill Police Department report states.

Morgan, nicknamed “Chilli Bean, is the father of former South Carolina Gamecock star Jadeveon Clowney, who is now in the NFL with the Houston Texans. Morgan was in prison while his son was playing football for South Pointe High in Rock Hill.
