One of South Carolina’s top in-state basketball players is in Columbia today. No, not that one.
Jimmy Nichols, a small forward from Conway, is on campus for an unofficial visit according to prep hoops guru Jamie Shaw. While he’s not getting the press that another player from the Palmetto State is getting, he’s still getting some looks from some good programs. Georgetown, Miami and Providence head the list of schools that have offered, along with mid-major schools like the College of Charleston, Murray State, Old Dominion and VCU. South Carolina has not offered yet, but it’s very much in the realm of possibility that Nichols will have an offer before he leaves campus.
