The University of South Carolina campus in Columbia was the scene of a lot of solar eclipse activities Monday.
The Gamecocks’ gameday theme, “2001,” played from within Williams-Brice Stadium at 2:41 p.m. as the eclipse reached totality, with the football team watching from high atop the venue.
The Carolina Band played “Total Eclipse of the Heart” just minutes earlier.
