COLUMBIA — After a breakout junior season at South Carolina that included four runner-up finishes and the lowest scoring average in program history, Goose Creek native Katelyn Dambaugh has been named first-team All-SEC in women’s golf.
Dambaugh, a second-team All-SEC selection in each of her first two years at USC, becomes the fourth Gamecocks women’s golfer to earn all-conference accolades three times. She is the eighth player in program history to earn a place on the All-SEC first team.
Dambaugh notched top-10 finishes in seven of nine tournaments this season, including all five of USC’s events this spring.
