Gamecocks Wide Receiver Pharoh Cooper Makes Two Award Watch List’s in Two Days

South Carolina Gamecocks junior wide receiver Pharoh Cooper was named to two preseason award lists in two days making the Maxwell Award watch list and the Hornung Award watch list as well.

The Maxwell Award, which is given to the top college football player in the country, named Cooper to its preseason list and has him slotted in the top ten.

The Hornung award, is given annually by the Louisville Sports Commission, the award showcases the most versatile player in the NCAA.

2014 was the break out year for Pharoh Cooper. He earned first team All-SEC honors by the AP and SEC coaches as a wide receiver and was a second-team pick by both as an all-purpose back.
