COLUMBIA — It will be all arms on deck for a regional final between South Carolina and UNC Wilmington.
Rain pushed Monday’s scheduled finale of the Columbia NCAA regional back to Tuesday, giving the Gamecocks and Seahawks another day to rest their pitchers for a winner-take-all showdown with a berth in the super regionals against Oklahoma State at stake.
The time for the game was yet to be determined as of Monday afternoon. The postponement was announced approximately two hours before Monday’s scheduled 6 p.m. first pitch, as heavy rain continued to fall at Founders Park.
