COLUMBIA — It’s game day at Williams-Brice Stadium, where South Carolina faces No. 9 Texas A&M to kick off a five-game homestand, its longest since 1988. The Aggies and the Gamecocks play at 4 p.m. on SEC Network, with Dave Neal and Matt Stinchcomb on the call. Some pre-game items of note:
— We’re still waiting on word on the status of South Carolina receivers Deebo Samuel and Bryan Edwards, who head coach Will Muschamp has termed “game-time decisions” with hamstring issues. Samuel has sat out the past two games with a hamstring problem in the leg opposite the one which kept him out much of last season.
