Will Muschamp received his first commitment as South Carolina’s head football coach, though it’s an old name to the Gamecock commitment board.
Wide receiver Bryan Edwards of Conway recommitted to USC on Tuesday, nearly a month after stepping away from his original pledge made in March. He will enroll in January.
Edwards made his official visit to USC last weekend then took a couple of days to sort out his decision between the Gamecocks and Clemson.
“Yesterday (Monday) he was all torn up, he was struggling,” said Conway coach Chuck Jordan. “When he walked in the office today, I could tell he was a lot better.
