If you’ve been hankering for some hardwood action from the South Carolina men’s basketball team, you’ve been left severely wanting over the past few weeks — and that won’t be changing for the immediate future.
After the program initially suspended activities earlier this month, a second wave of positive coronavirus tests has derailed its attempts to get back on the court, resulting in the cancellation of today’s game against S.C. State.
Other games that have been the casualties of this schedule calamity include contests against George Washington and Wofford, and the rivalry clash against Clemson. While the George Washington and Wofford games were canceled, the Gamecocks and Tigers are still hoping to meet at a later date this season.
