The Gamecocks continued their seesawing between wins and losses, this time suffering an 85-73 defeat on the road to No. 1 Tennessee. The Vols, which swept the season series, were once again too much offensively for South Carolina to handle, with five players hitting double figures as they shot 49 percent from the floor. The Gamecocks’ inability to get some stops spoiled what was an incredible shooting night from 3, in which USC made a whopping 14 of its 23 attempts. Tre Campbell had a season-best 19 points to lead the Gamecocks, while Chris Silva notched a double-double (17 points, 12 rebounds) and Hassani Gravett posted 15 points off four of six 3-pointers.
