The Gamecocks spent a hard week on the road, first getting crushed 83-60 by Texas A&M and following that up with an 81-65 defeat at Arkansas. The effort against the Razorbacks was more competitive, but the Hawgs turned up their defensive intensity and scored 26 points off of 18 turnovers while holding South Carolina to 41.2% shooting and racking up seven blocks. Hassani Gravett led the Gamecocks with 12 points, while Kory Holden (11) and Justin Minaya (11) joined him in double figures.
