The Gamecocks cruised past third-seeded Georgia 71-49 in the semifinals, burying the Bulldogs with a 56.5% shooting performance. A’ja Wilson came off the bench again in this one, but had a typically dominant showing with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Doniyah Cliney and Mikiah Herbert Harrigan, who has had a great SEC Tournament so far, added 14 points each. With the victory, the Gamecocks set an SEC Tournament record with 11 consecutive wins, breaking the previous mark of 10 set by Tennessee.
