Four-star Hamsah Nasirildeen: FSU has “better coach and a plan” than South Carolina

Four-star safety Hamsah Nasirildeen said several factors went into his decision to flip his commitment from South Carolina to Florida State on Sunday. According to Nasirildeen, he was convinced shortly after Seminoles’ coach Jimbo Fisher and assistant Jay Graham delivered their final pitch during an in-home visit last week.

“I just felt it was a better environment for me, and a better coach and a plan,” Nasirildeen told The State’s Phil Kornblut. “It’s the competitive nature every day. And the relationship with the coaches is a big part. I feel like I can earn some playing time depending on how my development goes and how much work I put in.
